strengthening the inner shell
the gotway innershells are WEAK and badly designed
so many riders crack the inner shell ...it breaks where the pedalholders makes the plastic (!) hold all the forces in sharp edges ...bad design!
some photos below on my reinforced inner shell
another person did it even better than me and reinforced it from the outiside and also used fibreglass!

I am a FAN-boy!
It is kind of strange... the engineering on the Gotway Monster include 2 fans just under the PCB and the mosfets ...BUT there is no air intake and basically the fans only whisp the hot around in a closed space... what is that, really ???
If you ride hard you will push the machine to its limits and generate a lot of heat ...when hot the efficiency will get worse and worse and thus you will generate even more heat if you continue to push for the power
at 80degrees Celcius the machine will cut out from overheating
I had a heat-cut-out once on my MSuper2 on a VERY hot summer day 2016 ...nocked me unconsciuous for 15 minutes and I broke 2 ribs
I have had 4-5 warnings on my Monster since 2016 and lately it became worse ...so I decided to do something about it!
----
I installed a fan ...blowing the hot air OUT OF the machine and I also created a real air intake
Both can be "plugged" if it starts to rain
the intake is a DIY top of a PET bottle (!) and a motorbike airfilter attached using velcro
the pabst fan is directly above the internal fans
result?
after pushing my Monster as hard as I could in the forest riding fast ...it did not reach more than 35 degrees Celcius
riding slow uphill pushing the motor but going slow ... it reached 44 degrees
before I had easily around 70 degrees and also got warning beeps (scary if you ride hard uphill and the directly downhill and you get the warning and tiltback when speeding downhill...scary as fuck!)
so that is why I am a fan-boy ...it feels good to know that the heat does not stay inside the machine
below some pictures

have fun ...have fan!

the air-intake from the outside
the air intake can be closed by the pet bottle cork
the motorbike airfilter in place held by velcro
the fan : EBM Papst 9591904100 Radialfläkt 1 st
the placement of the fan under the side cushion/pads
the air outtake can be plugged if raining
drilling the hole in the cover to fit the fan opening
the leather covers the "outblow" so the air is blown backwards down and is not directly "open for dirt"
maybee in the future we will get a well engineered EUC with military grade components on the card,
state-of-the-art software and real ventilation
until then I go for DIY ...

Off-road Pedals with spikes, side wedge and frontwedge
the pedal mod is a MUST if you want to ride in the forest ...
also check out my wedge mod from 2016
>> https://eucmods.blogspot.com/2016/07/msuper-mod7the-wedge.html
>> https://eucmods.blogspot.com/2016/07/msuper-mod7the-wedge.html
i recently made a modification to the already FANTASTIC pedals...
instead of adding a wedge on a flat pedal, i bend the front of the pedal !
1. the side wedges and spikes prevent you from sliding off in carving turns or in muddy riding as before
2. now the front wedge goes up which means that you get the wedge benefit and can control the wheel with pressure in the toes (no need for powerpads)

bell with classic sound works best
I have tested many different bells ...small "pinging" bells and electronic versions with many strange sounds available
what works best is the "traditional bicycle bell" with its "round sound" ...people just naturally react to it (if they are not listening to music in their headphones)...
classic!
classic sound!
not good enough!
